SAPP gets the letter

Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP)today received the Show Cause Letter from Barisan Nasional (BN)giving the party's 30 days to reply. The letter dated July 30, 2008 was signed by BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor.

Confirming this, SAPP official said the letter demanded explanations from the party's leadership for proposing the vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

SAPP was also demanded to explain its statements that `there is no guarantee that SAPP will be still in BN after August' and `the party's loss of confidence in the Prime Minister.'

The official also said that SAPP president Datuk Sri Panglima Yong Teck Lee has not received any call from the Anti-Corrupption Agency requiring him to give statement in regards to a corruption case involving a State-owned company.
