Majimbun says no comment

What with Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) now? Yesterday in Kuala Lumpur Vice President and MP for Tawau Datuk Dr Chua Soon Bui said the party had abandoned its plan to move or support a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (See earlier posting).

A Sabah newspaper published the story dateline Kuala Lumpur appearing front page lead today. The report said Chua was accompanied by Deputy President Datuk Eric Majimbun meeting the Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia and the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datur Seri Nazri Aziz.

But just a minute ago, Majimbun, who is in Kuala Lumpur attending Parliamant, called me sayaing that he was never with Chua in the meeting with Pandikar and Nazri.

However, he declined to comment on what Chua told the Press.

"No comment," the MP for Sepanggar said. Majimbun might be `buying time' before making another unexpected announcement. And again let us just wait and see what next, what SAPP president Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee has to say this time around.
