Not true says PKR Tuaran

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Tuaran division denied that their chairman Haji Ansari Abdullah had quit as the party Sabah Liaison Committee chief.

"Ansari is still a mamber and a leader of the party at State and Federal levels. There is no reason for him to think of quitting as member of the party," the divisional secretery Jumin Jeffrey Masuling said today.

"Reports of Ansari having resigned from the party is misleading but party members should make effort to read diligently the current situation surrounding the party and the country. The situation can be very challenging and taxing in terms of work pressure, " Masuling said.

However, Masuling did not deny that there were hiccups in the party especially among leaders which he said a development that showed that the party was gaining attention and support from the people.

Meanwhile, PKR Youth Exco Pajudin Haji Nordin also denied that Ansari, who is currently in Hongkong, had resigned from the party.

"The source of the news (of Ansari resignation) is from within the party. There are certain individuals in Sabah PKR not happy with Ansari being appointed as the party's chief for Sabah last year, " he said.
