Branch head wants to stop Umno assembly

Kampung Labian Umno branch's head Kunsul Nahul (pic) this afternoon lodged a police report in a bid to stop the March 24 Umno General Assembly in Kuala Lumpur. He claimed that delegates from the Umno Silam Division are illegal.
He filed his report at the City Police Headquarters in Karamunsing, Kota Kinabalu.
"All the delegates are illegal because complaints on money politics and breach of party's ethics filed with Umno Disciplinary Board and Umno Supreme Council have yet to be decided," Kunsul told reporters after making the police report.
Kunsul said the reports to the Supreme Council and the Board were pertaining to the Silam delegates' or their accomplices' involvement in cheating during the Division and Silam Wanita annual general meeting.
At the same police station, two other Umno members also made police reports against Sabah Umno chief/Chief Minnister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman and Sabah Youth head Datuk Japlin Akim.
Akob @ Damsah (Umno Taman Antarabangsa) and Padlee Shahibon ( Airport Lama Putatan), in their reports wanted the police to investigate Musa for abusing his position as Chief Minister for his personal interest in protecting Japlin.
They were referring the Musa's statement yesterday in which he said that Japlin, although being found guilty of money politics and his Umno membership suspended for three years, would continue to be Sabah Agriculture and Food Industry Assistant Minister.
