Harvest Festival

Today marks the official last day celebrations of the annual Pesta Kaamatan (Harvest Festival), a celebrations observes by the native of Sabah, particularly, the Kadazan Dusun Murut communities. This festival mark the end of harvesting paddy and the communities celebrate in grand scale before going back to the field to start a new paddy planting season.

The government recognised this celebrations by gazetting May 30 & 31 as an annual Public Holiday.
