A businessman bought a land in Kampung Sinagang, along the Menggatal - Bambangan Baru -Poring Poring Road in Inanam. Since early this month he hired tractors to flatten the land, pushing tonnes of earth down a ravine, a water catchement area at Ulu Kiapad.
Now whenever its rain, villagers in Kg Kionsom are suffering, water coming out of their taps no longer safe for human or even dogs consumption. Coming out is mud plus water.
Villagers are now demanding for the businessman to stop work and provide new pipes and tanks for the 2,000 odd villagers.
